Annealing Furnace : Megha Engineering

We have created an Annealing Furnace System for fiber conditioning, featuring a unique design exclusive to Megha Engineering
The fiber experiences a significant temperature difference as it exits the main furnace, leading to thermal shock on the glass fiber
To address this issue, a process was devised where three furnaces are strategically positioned along the fiber draw path to minimize the temperature difference.
This innovation has successfully reduced attenuation loss in the fiber
We are delighted to announce that STL has successfully integrated this system across all 38 of their fiber draw towers
HFCL has also adopted the same system from Megha Engineering for all their draw towers.
Most recently, Megha Engineering provided an annealing furnace setup to STL, capable of reaching 1400 degrees centigrade, for additional fiber conditioning purposes.
