Preform Feeder System 6MTR. (300KG)

  • At the Shendra Draw Tower plant, STL operates a draw tower made by Conductice.
  • Initially, the feed system could only handle preforms that were 3 meters long
  • Megha Engineering reconfigured the feed system to accommodate preforms that are six meters long.

To achieve this

  • The tower height was raised by 1.5 meters, necessitating additional structural support
  • A completely new system was fabricated and installed on both sides. Special attention was paid to loading and unloading the extended preforms
  • A new control panel was manufactured for overseeing this modification
